GUIDED TOUR | Guided tour of MS Polstjerna (English) | Every Thursday during summer

Join a guided tour of Norway’s best-preserved sealing vessel! Tours are held at 1 PM on Tuesdays (in Norwegian) and Thursdays (in English) until August 15.
MS Polstjerna was built to endure polar waters, making it the strongest of all sealing vessels and a safe workplace. It safely brought both crew and catch back home.
Step into the shoes of an Arctic seafarer as we share stories of life on board, hunting on the ice, and Tromsø’s long Arctic history.
The tour also includes a visit to the SnowHow exhibition, where we, like Nansen and Amundsen before us, explore Indigenous knowledge and techniques for surviving in cold climates.
Tickets can be purchased on the day at MS Polstjerna (no advance booking). For larger groups or if you need to reserve tickets, please contact postmaster@polarmuseum.no
