Zoheb Mashiur
Job description
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Nfh - Norwegian College of Fisheries Science. I am a member of the CRAFT research group, and the ENCODE research group. My current research deals with the environmental implications of games, particularly roleplaying games, both as material objects with environmental costs and as cultural objects reproducing environmental discourse.
More broadly, I am interested in critical media analysis with a focus on futures, race, postcolonialism and environmentalism. I have a joint doctorate from the University of Kent and Charles University, Prague under the project MOVES – Migration and Modernity: Historical and Cultural Challenges.
