Job description
Postdoctoral fellow specializing in environmental archaeology and paleoecology, with experience in lake sediment core analysis and multi-proxy approaches. Works on reconstruction of past environments, landscape changes and human–environment interactions based on sedimentary archives. Uses methods such as sedaDNA metabarcoding, pollen analysis, microfossil analyses and geochemical techniques, combined with statistical modeling and time series analyses. The research integrates environmental data with archaeological sources to investigate landscape development, agricultural practices and the interaction between climate and people.
