Arctic Peace in Troubled times:
The lecture by associate professor Marcela Douglas examines how the concept of peace has been challenged in contemporary times, with a particular focus on the Arctic as a region. It explores how cooperation and trust have been built and tested, and how peace can be understood in an increasingly turbulent world.
Marcela Douglas will also present Center (Centre for Geopolitics, Peace and Security UiT (GPS)
Award ceremony "First impressions":
This year's photovice competition "First impressions" for all exchange students at UiT is organized by the Center for Arctic Humanities in collaboration with the Craft-lab, Environmental humanities, International Section and University Chaplaincy. Jorge Santos and Lilli Mittner will award the certificates and prizes to the winners of the competition.
