STEM Girls - Annual Meeting in Tromsø

STEMGirls is an Erasmus+ project working to encourage and support girls’ interest and participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The project brings together partners from across Europe to develop resources, activities and approaches that contribute to more inclusive and engaging STEM learning environments for young people.

During the three-day meeting, the international project team will come together to review the progress of the project, share experiences and results, and plan the next stages and upcoming activities. The programme will include project meetings, workshops and discussions, as well as visits to two important local partners.

The participants will visit Tromsø International School, one of the school partners in the STEMGirls project, providing an opportunity to meet with teachers and students and learn more about the school’s experience with STEM education.

The programme will also include a visit to Nordnorsk Vitensenter, where the partners will explore local approaches to STEM communication, education and outreach.

The Annual Meeting is an important opportunity for the STEMGirls partners to strengthen their international collaboration, exchange knowledge and experiences, and coordinate the upcoming work and activities of the project.
