CRAFT & ENCODE present: Happyend (2024)
The research groups CRAFT and ENCODE invite you to a screening of Neo Sora's science fiction film 'Happyend' (2024) at Aurora Fokus Kino on Thursday September 17 at 1730.
Happyend is a dystopian science fiction film that is also a coming-of-age film. In a near-future Tokyo, two high schoolers pull a prank on their principal, leading to the establishment of a surveillance system. Against the backdrop of a growing authoritarianism, Happyend is an exploration of rules and conformity among young people in a technological society.
The screening of Happyend is part of the film series 'CRAFT & ENCODE Present...' undertaken by the CRAFT research lab at the NFH and the ENCODE research group at HSL. The films are screened in partnership with Verdensteatret Cinematek. Due to the renovations at Verdensteatret, the screening will take place at Aurora Fokus Kino instead.
