Master in Biology Vebjørn Jacobsen Melum at Department of Arctic and Marine Biology (AMB) will hold his trial lecture and defend his thesis for the PhD degree in Natural Science.

The trial lecture will take place at 10:15. Title of trial lecture:

“How are species’ seasonal metabolic strategies shaped by environmental cues: a perspective in the context of climate change. Please address the question from a comparative perspective with an integrative to cellular/molecular approach”

The defense will take place at 12:15. Thesis title:

Rheostasis and timing: A tanycyte-mediated process”

Vice Dean Petter Gullmark will lead the disputation.
