Uniped-100 workshop: Learning with games
This workshop provides an introduction to the use of games and simulations in teaching. The workshop will discuss the theoretical basis for using different types of games and simulations as learning tools, and how they can be integrated into courses. We will also try a learning game in practice. The course mainly deals with analog games in seminar teaching (board, card and role-playing games), but the theoretical basis is also applicable to the use of digital games. 3 hours for meetings and 2 hours of work outside the meetings.
Jørn Weines, Associate Professor at Result, will lead the workshops. (There may be opportunities for further development if there is interest)
Note: This workshop will be run physically in the autumn and digitally in the spring.
