UiT at a Crossroads: Time to Join the Academic Boycott?

Universities across Norway and around the world have taken decisive action by implementing academic boycotts. Yet UiT still remains silent. How might students, staff, and the international academic community perceive the university’s silence on a recognized genocide?

Join us for a critical discussion on ethics, autonomy, and responsibility in academia with:
Hege Hermansen – Professor at OsloMet, researcher on higher education, professions, and professional autonomy. Prominent voice in debates on academic boycott.
Olav Elgvin – Researcher at Fafo, working on questions relating to Islam and integration policies. He spent his childhood years in Jerusalem. (via digital)
The seminar is organized by Students for Justice in Palestine and SAIH.
