Symposium on Nature-based health approaches: From individual to community and population-level strategies


Join us for an engaging and insightful symposium where we will explore the profound connections between healthy ecosystems and human well-being, with a particular focus on nature-based approaches to health.

10.15-11am Healthy ecosystems and people: what ecosystem services do we depend upon? Prof Phil Weinstein, University of Adelaide (lecture and Q&A)
11.15am-12pm Nature-based approaches: how can these strategies improve individual and population health? Dr Jessica Stanhope, University of Adelaide (lecture and Q&A)
12.15-1pm The ColOur project – Researching collaborative outdoor rehabilitation and ageing in meaningful places? Associate Prof Marianne Eliassen, UiT IHO (lecture). This brief lecture will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A on challenges and opportunities in researching nature-based health approaches
