What can you expect?

The aim of this workshop is to develop a co-created course/COIL. This is a hands-on workshop lead by UiT and LMU Munich that requires participants to actively participate in teams of 2-5 people. At the end of the workshop the participating teams will leave with a concrete conceptualisation of their course.

Pillar 1 introduces lecturers unfamiliar with / refreshes lecturers on the practice of learning objectives. A short introduction into the theory will be followed by the co-creation of learning objectives and subsequent feedback from the other participants.
Pillar 2 focuses on the ABC Learning Design, a rapid curriculum design method, which supports the co-creation of courses by producing a high level storyboard of the student learning journey and a detailed plan of learning activities.
Pillar 3 deals with how we can make our learning inclusive.
Pillar 4 focuses on evaluation, methods and constructive alignment.

Prerequesites

Apply as a group of at least 2 people
Have a course idea or a preexisting course
All group members have to sign-up individually

Lunch & dinner

Coffee and light snacks will be provided during the coffee breaks.
Lunch will be self-paid. You can join us at the places indicated in the program or you can go somewhere else on campus. If you do your own thing, please make sure you’re back at the time indicated in the schedule.
There will be a group dinner on the 9th of March at Casa Inferno. This included as part of the workshop.
