Tromsø, often called the capital of the Arctic, and has been a historic launching point for North Pole expeditionsHome to roughly 80,000 residents, Tromsø is known for its rich cultural life, northern lights, and midnight sun. It is located at 69 degrees north, 350 kilometers above the Arctic Circle.

UiT The Artic University of Norway

The conference is hosted by Department of Language and Culture (Institutt for språk og kultur), Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education (Fakultet for humaniora, samfunnsvitenskap og lærerutdanning).
