NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme

The NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme has launched a new call for proposals!

Could your research protect critical infrastructure, keep energy running through prolonged supply disruption, or counter hybrid tactics? Proposals aligned with any of the SPS Key Priorities are welcome!

Topics of particular interest for this call include:

  • Non-kinetic mitigation measures against unmanned systems
     
  • Protection of critical infrastructure, supplies and personnel, including maritime and undersea infrastructure resilience
     
  • Deterrence and defence against hybrid tactics: approaches, technologies, and cross-sector and international coordination
     
  • Energy generation, storage and distribution, including the capacity of critical facilities and deployed systems to operate through prolonged supply disruption
     
  • Biotechnology, including convergence with AI
     
  • Space technologies: space awareness; position, navigation and timing

Funding

Multi-year projects, typically 400.000 USD pr project.
