Career service - Students and PhD-candidates

We are happy to invite you to participate in UiTs International Staff Week for members of WP4 in EUGLOH, taking place in Harstad from 4-6 March 2026.

The focus will be on career development - for students, PhD candidates and for early career researchers. The programme consists of presentations and workshops for enriching and maintaining the spirit of mutual exchange and best practices. The overall goal is to strenghten the ongoing EUGLOH collaborations and prepare for the coming years. How do we perform, how do we evaluate (or who do) and what do we want to highlight as improvements.

Day 1 sums up EUGLOH universities' formal strategies and the best practices.
Day 2 focuses on challenges ahead, AI and the relations of universities versus industry.
Day 3 is on what skills PhD candidates and early career researchers need for entering the non academic work life.

Number of participants: Max. 30

Target audience for the initiative is academic and administrative staff who work closely within TG2 or on WP4 tasks related to career development, employability and skills development.
