What happens after submitting the form?: The Incoming Exchange Team will register your name and email in the relevant agreement in our system. Then, you will get a confirmation by email that you proceed with the nominations. The Incoming Exchange Team will register your name and email under the relevant agreement in our system. You will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Nomination Web.

Prospective exchange students

Note: This form is intended for administrative staff at partner institutions only. Students should not use this form. 1 - How to log in to the Nomination Web (Nominasjonsweb)

• "Choose institution:" UiT The Arctic University of Norway".
• Your username is your email address.
• Requesting a password: Request a password by entering your email and clicking “Send password.”

2 - Choose relevant agreements

After logging in, you will see the "Available agreements and admissions" your institution has with the Partner Departement at UiT.

1- Select the relevant "Active agreements" from the list
2- Click on the button “Add new nomination” to nominate your student to the "Department/Faculty at UiT".
3- Register your student

3 - Rgister your student(s)

Please ensure all fields are completed accurately, especially the student’s email address and birthdate.

1. Student's Email address (please inform your student that important information will be sent to this Email from UiT).
2. First name/Family name (as it appears in the student's passport).
3. Gender
4. Date of birth (as it appears in the student's passport)
5. Citizenship
6. Language (always choose ENGLISH)
7. Correct term (semester(s) for admission) and click on
8. Add nomination to save the data

4- How to cancel your nomination

You can always cancel your nomination if the student has not created an application profile.

If you are facing problems with the cancellation, please send an email to mobility@uit.no .

5- How to modify your nomination(s)

It is unfortunately not possible to modify the data (for instance, birthdate) after the completion of the registration of your students. Please send us an email to mobility@uit.no . We will manually correct the data in our system.

6- Confirmation of nomination

You will receive a confirmation sent instantly by our system to your registered email with information about your nominated students and their registered data.

7- Nominated students. how to begin your application

Nominated students will receive an invitation email to apply. The invitation email is only sent to the email address registered by the Partner / Nominator. The student will be invited to apply through this website: Incoming exchange students: how to create an application | UiT

Course catalogues for incoming exchange students are updated each semester:

• 15 September for students commencing in the spring semester (January - July) and
• 15 March for students commencing in the autumn semester (August - December).
